EAGLE, IDAHO, April 1, 2008- The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) today launched the iTuber Take II video contest on the popular website, YouTube, inviting spud lovers from across the country to work their magic in front of the camera with America's favorite vegetable: the Idaho Potato. In celebration of the International Year of the Potato, the Idaho Potato Commission has launched a special category just for Idaho high school students with cash prizes for the student winner and his/her high school.

EAGLE, Idaho, February 8, 2008 -Chefs David Burke, Paul Prudhomme and Michael Symon are among eleven chefs sharing their favorite Idaho Potato recipes in the Idaho Potato Commission's "Recipes for Relief" on-line program. The goal of this unique program is to celebrate the United Nation's declaration of 2008 as the International Year of the Potato by raising awareness and $50,000 for UNICEF, an organization that provides lifesaving nutrition, clean water and education to children in more than 150 countries around the world.

EAGLE, ID, June 24, 2009 – H-E-B Grocery stores teamed up with Idaho® potatoes and Paul Prudhomme’s Magic Seasoning Blends® to spice up its produce sales in March. The San Antonio-based grocery chain pumped up produce purchases at its Texas locations with a “New Orleans Cooking Adventure” sweepstakes. The month-long promotion enticed H-E-B customers to add flavor to their fare, specifically Idaho® potatoes, with product discounts, and a chance to win a “New Orleans Cooking Adventure” including a trip to New Orleans and a private cooking lesson from famous chef Paul Prudhomme.
