Idaho Potato Commission Announces Grand Prize Winner of Gilligan's Island Trivia Contest at 2004 PMA

BOISE, ID, DECEMBER 17, 2004 - Sue Behrens of Roundy's in Milwaukee, WI, and three guests will receive VIP treatment at SpudFest 2005 -- including a special breakfast with SpudFest founder Dawn Wells (a.k.a. Mary Anne of the hit TV show Gilligan's Island). In early August of next year, Behrens and her family will travel to Idaho for the four-day celebration showcasing family films and musical talent, including shorts and animations.

The Idaho Potato Commission Backgrounder

For close to 70 years, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) has been the national authority on the world’s best-loved potato: the Idaho Potato. The IPC consists of nine members - respected individuals who work within the industry – representing growers, shippers and processors. These individuals are nominated by their peers from the Idaho Potato industry and then a finalist is selected to serve by the Idaho state governor. Supporting the members is a full staff based in the IPC headquarters in Boise, ID.
