EAGLE, Idaho, April 13, 2018 – The Idaho Potato Commission’s (IPC) first national co-branded television commercial, which originally debuted at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, HI, is set to air again this spring. Ten 30-second television spots celebrating the IPC’s 5-year partnership with Racing for Orphans with Down Syndrome (RODS) will air during the iconic Boston Marathon on April 16 and the AMGEN Tour of California in May.

The sudden change of heart (and potato) came as a surprise to potato lovers around the nation who have followed the Truck's journey since the original tour launch in 2012.
Eagle ID (March 2018)— Idaho, the United State’s top producing potato state since 1957, reached a new crop high in 2017. According to the US Department of Agriculture, the preliminary estimated value for the Idaho® Potato crop is $1.2 billion, a 22.7% leap from the previous year. Harvested acreage was down 5% and yields were down 1.2%.
Boise, ID, December 28, 2017 – From the moment the Wyoming Cowboys mascot, Cowboy Joe (a young pony with a big spirit) trotted onto the blue field at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho, it was “game on.” The Wyoming Cowboys, representing the Mountain West Conference, defeated the Central Michigan Chippewas from the Mid-American Conference 37-14 in the country’s premier cold-weather college bowl game with close to two million fans around the country watching it live on ESPN.
