Layers of Flavor

Gratins and other recipes that call for thinly sliced potatoes are permanent offerings on many restaurant menus. As you know, when you use fresh Idaho® potatoes as your main ingredient, the flavor combinations are endless.

Chef Andy Husbands of Tremont in Boston serves Spanish Tortillas. The traditional gratin has a layer of chorizo and basil in the middle and is topped with a sweet Catalan tomato sauce. This dish could easily serve as a one-dish meal, a hearty side, or appetizer for sharing.

Another delicious recipe is Fennel Gratin. With just four ingredients, this dish defines comfort food!

Consider them all for your fall and holiday menus!
