Lucky Dishes 2019

Coming up with fun things to feature in your restaurant can always be a challenge and January is no exception. Your audience may be trying to start New Year’s resolutions, by eating healthy – but having a cold salad when the weather turns cold may not be a big hit.

Same with promoting an upscale or more expensive entrée when many guests are starting to get their bills from the holidays.

Why not feature traditional lucky foods?

Black eyed peas are at the top of the list according to a recent article by Vanessa Graves for AllRecipes.com and she also mention one of our favorites, PORK! Many ethnic cultures start off their year with pork inspired dishes. Potatoes and pork can be a natural for your celebrations too.
