Wife: Jann Moss
Children: We have been blessed with four children Ryan, Mandi, Lana, Becky, 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Hometown: Jann and I grew up on a small farm in Northern Utah growing Beets for Utah, Idaho Sugar Company, Potatoes for Clover Club Chips, peas and beans for DelMonte, and Onions for Utah Onion Co.
I'm proud to be a farmer because...We wanted to grow the farm but the land in our area was limited by residential pressure. So we went to Idaho, where there were enough land opportunities to grow. That was 40 years ago.
Idaho now is Home Sweet Home. Ryan now oversees the farm on day to day business. And Jann and I are trying to slow down a little. This year is our 50th Wedding Anniversary,
That's a lot of years to grow Potatoes, grow Kids, grow great Friends, and cultivate rewarding relationships with many many great people all across the State.
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
