The IPC estimates that the potato
acreage in 2026 will total approximately
298,915 acres. This includes all process,
fresh and seed varieties grown in the state.
This estimate carries a margin of error of
plus or minus 1%. Of these acres, approximately
29,300 are designated for seed production
