How many generations?
I am the third generation and our girls and the fourth and our two grandchildren are the fifth generation.
I'm proud to be a farmer because... the freedom I have to make our own decisions and reap the benefits, and having the entire family involved in the operation. Besides that, I like to play in the dirt.
My favorite way to eat a potato:
Baked, with the works
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous "Grown in Idaho®" seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho's ideal growing conditions, including rich, volcanic soil, climate and irrigation differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states.
