Roasted Shallot Garlic Dip


  • 1 qt sour cream
  • 2 cups finely sliced shallots
  • 2 cups fresh garlic cloves -sliced
  • Oil
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. Sauté shallots and garlic till brown and crispy. (Almost fried, but not deep-fried). Drain well.
  2. Blend shallots and garlic with sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Chill.
  3. Note: slice potatoes lengthwise to create longer chips and
  4. leave the skin on.
