Chef Alex Hoefer is a seasoned culinary professional with over 26 years of experience across a variety of high-profile settings, including AAA 4 Diamond hotels, NFL stadiums, boutique hotels, and private catering. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Hoefer has honed his skills in both classical and contemporary culinary techniques.
Throughout his career, he has excelled in product and recipe development, working with national and international companies to enhance their offerings. Chef Hoefer is also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of chefs, collaborating with local high school ProStart programs.
His French Onion Potato Gratin was featured in the It All Starts with An Idaho® Potato campaign, earning national visibility in FSR Magazine, Flavor & The Menu, and Nation's Restaurant News for the 2024-25 season.
