Are you looking to spice up your menu with a new potato dish? We’re thinking tots! While tots are incredibly trendy right now, they have actually been around for much longer than you would think. Tot’s were first created in 1953 when the Grigg brothers were looking for new ways to use potatoes in their French fry business. They ended up creating bite-sized treats from slivers of potatoes and branded them “Tater Tots®” shredded potatoes. Tots have since become a household favorite because of their versatility. You can add tots to casseroles, fill with tasty melted cheese or smother with chili (a version of Chili Fritos®).
