Idaho Potato Commission Recipe Photo Contest Last Call for Entries
Submit Your Best Idaho® Potato Recipe Images by August 29 to Compete for Up to $5,000 in Cash Prizes
EAGLE, Idaho, August 13, 2013— The Idaho Potato Commission’s (IPC) recipe photo contest has already received dozens of entries from cooking and photography enthusiasts vying to win $500 cash prizes. Participants are invited to visit http://recipes.idahopotato.com/enter-our-recipe-photo-contest/ to enter for at least one of ten opportunities to win. Submissions will be accepted until August 29 and winners announced the week of September 2.
“Our recipe photo contest is perfect for people who love to try new recipes and show off their photography skills,” said Frank Muir, President and CEO, IPC. “We are also eager to showcase some incredible photos in our new recipe database, which currently contains more than 900 recipes ranging from quick and easy one-dish meals to decadent side dishes.”
To participate, contestants prepare one of the approved recipes using Idaho® potatoes, snap a photograph and upload it to the website using the entry form provided. A winning photo will be selected for each of the 10 recipes, and winners will each be awarded a $500 prize. Contestants may submit entries for as many of the featured recipes as desired and have the opportunity to win multiple times.
