Heeding Farmer Mark's Plea, The Big Idaho® Potato Truck is Heading Home

Eagle, Idaho, March 13, 2020 -- The Big Idaho® Potato Truck tour has been temporarily suspended due to coronavirus concerns.

“The safety and well-being of the Tater Team and the millions of fans we meet during our six month journey are a top priority for us,” explained Frank Muir, President & CEO, Idaho Potato Commission (IPC). “The Big Idaho® Potato Truck will be back on the road as soon as it can. In the meantime, please stay safe everyone.”

While the Tater Team won’t be traveling, they’ll still be active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

About the Idaho Potato Commission
Established in 1937, the Idaho Potato Commission is a state agency that is responsible for promoting and protecting the famous “Grown in Idaho®” seal, a federally registered trademark that assures consumers they are purchasing genuine, top-quality Idaho® potatoes. Idaho’s growing season of warm days and cool nights, ample mountain-fed irrigation and rich volcanic soil, give Idaho® potatoes their unique texture, taste and dependable performance. These ideal growing conditions are what differentiate Idaho® potatoes from potatoes grown in other states. For more information, visit www.idahopotato.com.
